Google’s Dark Network Plan

For those of you who don’t know, Google has been buying lots and lots of what’s known as “dark fiber”. Essentially, this is unused fiber optic network that major network infrastructure companies built, but can’t make use of so they sell it off. Now, it’s been speculated all over the place about what Google would need a dark fiber network for. Now, ZDnet is writing that Google is buying a large block of IPv6 addresses. (more…)

Bomberman Nintendo DS

So, I experienced Bomberman for the DS this last weekend. Man, that is a freeking awesome multiplayer game. Sure, other Bomberman games were fun, but having one cartridge allowing 3 DS’s to play multiplayer is fantastic. My only gripe is that it doesn’t support Nintendo WiFi. Otherwise, it’d be like the greatest DS multiplayer game ever. I guess I still must give that title to Mario Kart. Oh well. The point is at $15 this game is a freeking steal! Buy the game already!

Also, yeah I haven’t tried the 1 player mode, but who needs 1 player mode when it is so fun multiplayer? MAKE SOME FRIENDS ALREADY AND GO PLAY!

Nintendo DS Lite Review

Well well well, if it isn’t the Apple DS, err I mean the DS Lite. How quaint that you finally managed to make it stateside. Yep, as soon as the DS Lite hit stores, I made a mad rush to pick one up. Sure, I’m not the first one to own one, but I love the little machine nonetheless. (more…)
